That's right, you had to drink outside all the while missing the concert and then you go back in after you finished the drink. This may've been the dumbest thing I've ever seen.
Anyone know if it's still like that this year? I remember being able to bring beer back to your seat, when I saw Coldplay many year ago. Don't really like the venue - the sound's too tinny or muffled depending on your seats. And that was a just a giant piece of fabric to keep the sound from escaping into the outfield. Different strokes for different folks.
I've done both and it just depends on the show and my mood. I had okay experiences. Sometimes you may get a good spot and then a group of people will come sit beside you and crash the party being annoying and such.
Also if it rains before or during you will be in big trouble. No fun sitting or lying on wet ground. The wind can pick up and create a bad windchill beside the lake. I'm assuming you can bring blankets and such but just wondered if lawn chairs are ok too. I went on the www. Actually I might as well ask, how much is the price of beer there? Thanks for any info. I would be very surprised if they allowed lawn chairs, they are very strict these days with anything that could be used as a weapon.
I think you aren't allowed to bring your own lawn chairs, but they will RENT one to you on the premises. Yeah I was there for Linkin Park the other day.
